This German initiative establishes biodiversity model farms in North Rhine-Westphalia that act as living labs. Through close collaboration between farmers, advisors, and scientists, the project trials and adapts biodiversity-enhancing measures to ensure they are practical, economically viable for the farm, and effective from a nature conservation perspective.
