LIFE DESERT ADAPT addressed land degradation and desertification in Southern Mediterranean EU countries (Italy, Portugal, Spain). The project demonstrated and disseminated sustainable land management and climate adaptation practices, such as agroforestry and soil conservation techniques, to improve the resilience of agricultural systems against climate change and erosion.
