The German Wetlands Foundation (Stiftung Feuchtgebiete) is dedicated to protecting and restoring wetland habitats. Since 2009, it has supported over 60 projects across Germany, including peatland rewetting and the purchase and ecological restoration of ponds, marshes, and fens to enhance biodiversity and water retention.
