Finnish dairy company Valio conducted a pilot project to raise biodiversity awareness among its farmers. Experts surveyed 64 farms, assessing landscape elements and providing reports with tailored recommendations for restoration and maintenance. While deemed inefficient for large-scale monitoring, the project provided valuable on-farm advice and spurred development of satellite-based tools.
